Kolten has been begging Papa to teach him how to play cribbage (it's a Brady thing) and now that Kolten can add bigger numbers they decided today was the day. It was Kolten and Papa against Shane and Breanna. Kolten and Papa skunked their competition and Kolten got a lot of mileage out of teasing his dad about the outcome. I watched Marvin cracking up every time Kolten brought it up. Now Kolten can play chess AND cribbage. Not normally what you picture a six year old playing - following the the nerdy footsteps of his Uncle Boone I guess.
In the meantime...Beth, Kaylee and I made cookies and played beanie babies. Kolby went around making messes as usual. We had a fun day - the perfect way to spend a rainy Sunday evening. Family and fun!

Sounds like a great talent to pass on! Being able to strategize! Better watch out though, it might come back to haunt someone! Hey thanks for the advice on sending Monte to kindergarten! If we had you as a teacher, of course we would send him! :) That has been the overwhelming consensus, to wait until next year. Thanks for confirming that feeling that I should hold him. Hope you guys are doing well! We miss you too!
Thanks for the fun evening. Kolten was still "reminding" Shane of his loss the next day:) He was even thinking that he can probably beat Boone when he gets back, he is such a boy it is annoying sometimes! Hope you have fun and learn a lot:)
